Refund & Discount Policies

Understanding Festival Flamenco’s refund and discount policies is key for attendees and organizers. Clear guidelines ensure informed ticket purchases, workshop changes, and enhance the overall festival experience.

Schedules, artists, and pricing on ALL FFABQ 37 PROGRAMMING subject to change.


In dance classes, choreography and technique will be taught. Workshop choreographies are set to the palo indicated in the workshop description. Workshops descriptions and material are subject to change at the behest of the instructor and presenting organization.

Workshops consist of six (6) hours of instruction over the course of seven (7) days. Instructors generally do not teach on the day of their scheduled performance. Please see course descriptions for details.

Refunds for Cancellation of Your Purchase

  1. The deadline for cancellation and refunds of any portion of your festival purchase is June 19, 2024 5:00pm MDT. All refunds must be pre-approved.

      2. Refund Percentages Based on Request Dates
      • Refunds requested from December 22, 2023 – March 30, 2024 are eligible for an 80% refund of the total purchase.

      • Refunds requested from April 1 – June 18, 2024 are eligible for a 60% refund of the total purchase.

      • 
Refunds requested from June 19 – 29, 2024 ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND.
      Refund Process
      • Step 1
        All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email at festival@nifnm.org
      • Step 2
        A Festival Staff Member will contact you to review and process your refund 
request. Refunds will be issued if cancellation notice is received by or before the above stated deadlines.

  2. Refund Purchases made from Festival Partner Venues/3rd Party Vendors

      3. Refunds are not available for single ticket purchases made through 3rd party vendors, i.e., the University of New Mexico Box Office, the National Hispanic Cultural Center Box Office, or Tablao Flamenco Alburquerque. The National Institute of Flamenco will not grant refunds for purchases made through Festival Partner Venues or 3rd Party vendors.

Requests for Schedule Changes

  1. If you require a change to your festival schedule, please contact our Festival Staff by phone at 505-242-7600 or email festival@nifnm.org

  2. If applicable, refunds from schedule changes will be issued if notice is received by or before the stated deadline of June 18, 2024. (Please see Refund Policy and dates listed above in 1a.

  3. If a schedule change does not result in a refund and is requested after June 18, 2024 at 5:00PM MDT, students will be transferred to a different scheduled FFABQ 37 an open workshop of their choice of equal or lesser value.

  4. During the Festival, workshops may be added but not switched after Sunday, June 23. Students may continue to add classes until the end of Festival Flamenco 2024.

  5. Students who purchase the Festival Flamenco 2024 ALL ACCESS or VIP passes are exempt from this rule and may switch classes for the duration of the Festival.

  6. When workshops have reached capacity, online registration will close automatically. At this point, Wait Lists will be created.

  7. Wait Lists are managed online through MindBody and students are added in the order requests are received. For assistance adding your name to the online Wait List, please call 505-242-7600.

Policy for Non-Attendance of Festival Flamenco 37

  1. Individuals must notify the Festival Staff in writing prior to June 18, 2024 at 5:00 pm MDT to receive a refund in the amounts stated above in section 1a. Notifications received after this date and time will result in the forfeiture of the total amount of purchase.

  2. We aim to be sensitive in understanding your particular issue, including personal
 emergencies and deaths in the family. Our Executive Director will review these cases 
individually.

Workshop Discount Policies and Codes

PLEASE NOTE  Workshop Discount Codes apply only to full week-long Festival Workshop registration. Workshop Discount Codes may not be applied to any other Festival purchases. Workshop Discount Codes are posted prominently within each class description in MindBody, on ffabq.org, and in the 2024 Workshop and Performance Guide.

        High school, college, and university student Discount – 10% OFF
        Students who attend UNM, CNM, CFA, TANM, or APS and enroll in ONE (1) or more workshops.

  • Flamenco Teacher Incentive Discount

        Teachers attending the Festival with a group of 4 or more of 4 or more (1 teacher and 3 or more students) are eligible for the Flamenco Teacher Incentive Credit.
        Local and National Teachers earn a $50 FFABQ 37 Credit* per registered student.
        International Teachers earn a $100 FFABQ 37 Credit* per registered student.
        
*Teachers and students must be verified through our Festival Office prior to registration.
        Students attending with a teacher in a group of 4 or more (1 teacher and 3 or more students) receive an additional discount on their individual Festival Workshops (does not include ticket packages or workshop passes).
        Discounts for students traveling in groups are determined by group size:
        Groups of 3-5 students and 1 teacher: 5% discount
        Groups of 6-10 students and 1 teacher: 10%
        Groups of 11-15 students and 1 teacher: 15%
        Groups of 16-20 students and 1 teacher: 20%
        Groups of 21 or more students and 1 teacher: 25%
        Call 505-242-7600 or email festival@nifnm.org to redeem the flamenco teacher incentive credit and student discount.

  • Discount Codes and/or partial refunds WILL NOT be given retroactively for any reason.

        Registrants must enter the appropriate discount code or call to redeem the appropriate credit at the time of purchase. If your Discount Code is not applying properly, please do not complete your transaction and contact the Festival Office at 505-242-7600 or festival@nifnm.org.

 

    • Workshop discounts only apply to full, week-long Festival Workshop registration.
    • Workshop discounts may not be applied to any other Festival purchases.
    • 
Workshop discounts are posted prominently with each class description in

    • Discount Codes and/or partial refunds will not be issued retroactively for unapplied discount codes for any reason.
    • Registrants MUST enter the appropriate discount code at checkout at the time of
purchase.
    • If your Discount Code is not applying properly, please do not complete your
transaction and contact the Festival Office at 505-242-7600.
    • Discount codes may not be applied to single tickets, ticket packages, Festival products or retail items, workshop passes, Late Night
Special Series, or single-day workshop classes.
    • Flamenco Teacher Incentive discounts may not be applied to retail items.
    • Flamenco Teacher Incentive discounts will expire on June 28, 2024 at 5:00 PM MDT.
    • Flamenco Teacher Incentive discounts are not transferable to other individuals, may not be exchanged, and may not be resold.
    • Teachers and their students attending must enroll and make purchases through the Festival Office via phone or email in order to receive their respective credits/discounts.
