THE WORKSHOP
In dance classes, choreography and technique will be taught. Workshop choreographies are set to various palos (song forms and rhythms). Choreographies are the original work of the artists/teachers, and students learn flamenco through the experience and unique abilities that these master artists/teachers bring to their work.
Workshops consist of six (6) hours of instruction over the course of seven (7) days, June 20-26. Instructors generally do not teach on the day of their scheduled performance. Salomé Ramírez will not teach on Thursday, June 25.

About
Salomé Ramírez
Salomé Ramírez is a distinguished flamenco dancer from Jerez de la Frontera, born in 1990. She began her journey in flamenco at just four years old, and by twelve was already performing in renowned tablaos such as El Lagar de Tío Parrilla (Jerez) and El Arenal (Seville).
Her talent has led her to work with some of the most respected names in flamenco, including Farruquito and Eduardo Guerrero, performing as part of their companies.
In 2019, she was one of the standout performers in Tacones Manoli, a production directed by Manuel Liñán in Madrid, where she impressed audiences both as a dancer and as an actress. In 2023, she was awarded second prize in the prestigious La Perla de Cádiz competition — a recognition of her technical skill and expressive power.
Her international career has seen her light up stages in Japan, Brazil, India, and further afield.
Now based in Madrid, she is a regular presence at the city’s most iconic tablaos, including El Corral de la Morería, while also touring with Guitarra Coral, the latest project from renowned guitarist Yerai Cortés.
