Juan de Juan, born in Seville in 1979, is a distinguished flamenco dancer and choreographer renowned for his dynamic performances and innovative approach to traditional flamenco. He began his dance education at a young age, studying under esteemed maestros such as Matilde Coral and Manolo Marín. By 16, he joined the prestigious company of Antonio Canales, quickly ascending to the role of principal dancer.
Throughout his career, Juan de Juan has collaborated with numerous luminaries in the flamenco world, including Joaquín Cortés and Sara Baras, performing on prominent stages worldwide. His unique style seamlessly blends classical flamenco with contemporary elements, captivating audiences and critics alike.
In addition to his performance career, Juan de Juan has dedicated himself to choreography and teaching, imparting his knowledge and passion for flamenco to the next generation of dancers. His contributions to the art form have solidified his status as a leading figure in contemporary flamenco.
