Jesús Corbacho

Jesús Corbacho, born in Huelva in 1986, is a distinguished flamenco cantaor renowned for his profound and authentic interpretations. His passion for flamenco emerged early; by the age of two and a half, he was already singing his first fandangos, a love for the art form inherited from his father.

At nine, he began studying guitar at the Peña Flamenca de Huelva, where he discovered his vocal talents. By eleven, he won the First National Fandango Prize at the “Paco Toronjo” competition in Alosno in the Children’s category, repeating this achievement four years later in the Adults category.

As a solo artist, Corbacho has performed at prestigious flamenco festivals, including the Flamenco Festival in Chicago, the Huelva Flamenco Festival, the Ojén Festival, the La Fortuna Flamenco Days, Madrid’s Suma Flamenca Festival, and the Fez Festival of Sacred Music in Morocco. His discography features his debut solo album, “Debajo del Romero,” and collaborations on albums such as “Tiempo Presente” by Michele Iaccarino, “Historia Antológica del Fandango de Huelva,” “Fandango Joven,” “Herencia,” and “Esta Noche es Navidad” with the group “Niños de Huelva,” and “Movimiento” by Luis Medina.
Corbacho’s dedication to flamenco and his deep connection to his Huelva roots have solidified his reputation as a leading figure in the flamenco community.
